Mulberry is my tribute to three generations of the Bothra family, a family that perfected the business of silk, to a glorious silk tradition that dates back many thousands of years, to many generations of designers, craftsmen, traders and cultures that have made silk the symbol of high thinking and living, to my many mentors who believed in me, to my successors who will take the family name and the tradition of silk through this new century, to our customers, who are our patrons and friends in this silk odyssey, and to every home, office, hotel room, lobby, that we try to convert to a sanctuary - for the body, mind and soul.
